Terms and Conditions

By accessing and using the services provided by Greenzone Academy ("we," "our," or "us"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. Additionally, when using Greenzone Academy's services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "the Student/Parent") and Greenzone Academy governing your use of our website (greenzoneacademy.com.ng) and our educational services including but not limited to tutoring, homeschooling programs, language classes, and onsite school programs.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. Your continued use of our services following any changes to these Terms indicates your acceptance of such changes.

Greenzone Academy provides the following educational services:

• Private Tutoring: One-on-one in-home and online tutoring sessions for students of all ages
• Group Classes: Online group classes with a maximum of 10 learners per session
• Homeschooling Programs: Comprehensive home education support and curriculum guidance
• Language Classes: instruction in Yoruba, Igbo, German, Spanish, French, and other languages
• Special Needs Support: Speech therapy, occupational therapy, behavioral therapy, and SEN assessment
• Exam Preparation: Preparation for IGCSE, GCSE, SAT, EDEXCEL, A-Levels, OSSD, Common Entrance, and other examinations
• Onsite School: Full-time in-person educational programs
• Professional Training: Training programs for educators and school owners

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any significant changes to our services.

To access certain features of our services, you may be required to create a user account. When creating your account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must create the account on your behalf.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine that you have violated these Terms or provided inaccurate information.

4.1 Fee Structure

Our tuition fees vary depending on the type of service selected:

• Online Group Classes: ₦25,000 - ₦35,000 per month (maximum 10 students per group)
• One-on-One Online Tutoring: Pricing varies based on subject and level
• In-Home Tutoring: Pricing varies based on subject, level, and location
• Homeschooling Programs: Custom pricing based on selected curriculum and support level

4.2 Payment Terms

• Payments are due in advance unless otherwise agreed
• Registration fee is required before tutoring services commence
• Full payment must be received before the start of each billing cycle
• We accept payment via bank transfer, online payment platforms, and other approved methods

4.3 Late Payments

A late fee of 5% per month may be applied to overdue balances. Services may be suspended if payment is not received within 7 days of the due date.

5.1 Cancellation by Student/Parent

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled session will receive a full refund or credit
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled session will be charged in full
• No refunds will be given for missed sessions without prior notice

5.2 Cancellation by Greenzone Academy

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a session, we will:

• Provide at least 24 hours' notice when possible
• Offer a replacement tutor or alternative session time
• Issue a full refund if no suitable alternative is available

5.3 Tutor Replacement

If you are unsatisfied with your assigned tutor, we will:

• Provide a replacement tutor at no additional cost
• Pro-rate payments as applicable
• Issue a refund if we are unable to provide a suitable replacement

5.4 Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to admin@greenzoneacademy.com.ng. Refunds are processed within 14 business days and will be returned via the original payment method.

6.1 Student/Parent Conduct

All students and parents agree to:

• Treat all tutors and staff with respect and courtesy
• Provide a suitable environment for learning sessions
• Be punctual for scheduled sessions
• Complete assigned homework and preparation work
• Communicate openly about learning needs and concerns
• Respect the intellectual property of course materials

6.2 Prohibited Behavior

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior toward tutors or staff
• Sharing account credentials with others
• Using our services for any unlawful purpose
• Attempting to circumvent our booking or payment systems
• Reproducing or distributing course materials without authorization

Violation of this code may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

All content, materials, and resources provided by Greenzone Academy, including but not limited to:

• Course curricula and lesson plans
• Educational videos and recordings
• Worksheets, exercises, and assessments
• Website design and content
• Logos, trademarks, and branding

...are the intellectual property of Greenzone Academy and are protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, or use any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent. Educational materials provided for your personal learning use may not be shared with third parties.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference, describes how we collect, use, and disclose your information.

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy. We comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

We will not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties without your explicit consent. We may share information with:

• Service providers who assist in delivering our services
• Educational institutions as part of program requirements
• Legal authorities when required by law

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Greenzone Academy shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use our services
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
• Academic performance or achievement of students

Our total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of our educational content. Academic results vary by student, and we cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

10.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your use of our services at any time by:

• Cancelling your account through your profile settings
• Providing written notice to admin@greenzoneacademy.com.ng

Refunds will be provided in accordance with our cancellation policy (Section 5).

10.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms or our Code of Conduct
• Non-payment of fees
• Request by law enforcement or regulatory authorities
• Extended inactivity of your account

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lagos State, Nigeria.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Post the updated Terms on our website
• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify you via email or through our website of significant changes

Your continued use of our services after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using our services.
